I remeber this one from the art trade also. The colors in this one are just so nice. I just love the blue. The vestige looks very ceremonial, to me, like a priestess perhaps. The hand positions emphasize it also, reminiscent of some of the "classic" Emperor and other tarot images.
Nice pendant too!

acrylic is faster and easier for reptiles than oil...multifaceted, irridescent things of many color that they are...i like doing flesh/drapery in oil better though...this painting gave me the best of both worlds.
