Mnemophobic purge, unframed by larkin-art Mnemophobic purge, unframed by larkin-art
A view of the central panel,
Acrylic on masonite, 18 x 24"

here's a detail shot for all of you good folks who like the nitty gritty.- [link]

I'll have the frame done soon and post that subsequently.

Anyone in the Seattle area can see this in person at next month's solo show! Details on that coming soon...

~larkin-art brings us a touch of the macabre with Mnemophobic purge, unframed, Baroque intricacies are woven throughout, yet arranged in a scene so strangely romantic, showcasing irrefutable mastery at establishing a completely unique and recognisable style. Bravo :) ( Suggested by cosmicbound and Featured by snowmask )

i was inspired by the nagging reminder of memory and chose this piece as an instructional means to blast it out of one's head. admittedly i made a lot of it up as i went along.

This is quite inspiring work, the animal choices don't seem random at all and if not quite meaningful to its totality...
just a thought

Creepy cool! I am sure many can tell that you worked super hard. I don't know if you meant to do this or not but the LIGHT eye in e top right corner is neat. I could hardly tell, until I looked closer. Great work!

~ what superlative talent you have - you are going to go far. it's seeing a DD and being grateful to the coincidence of even looking that day that pays off so sweetly. showing exemplary technique and imagination in bloom is one thing - but your work should be "experienced". I guess i'm gushing now but this sublime stuff.
